My point was that it’s likely to get out of hand quickly if you have a large number of devs working in your app. If everyone creates a new file/hook for their own “idea", then you will have LOTS of hooks. You will also have to assume each dev is making sure their hook is unique. Which is harder to do when you have lots of files. So, you may end up with hundreds of hooks and multiple duplicates of the same functionality.

Just wanted to point that out as a possible gotcha of the “hook first, ask questions later” approach.
